Kartesia proudly contributed to the "ESG in Private Debt" project of the UN PRI
Kartesia proudly participated in the first report of the UN PRI on the private debt market, published yesterday in recognition of the increasing levels of commitment from private debt signatories.
It is clear from the report that the key concepts of responsible investment are complementary to private debt with its core focus on analysing and managing risk through relationships with investee entities. Also, small businesses often lack the resources to address material ESG issues but are willing to learn about the importance of ESG if investors are prepared to educate them.
Kartesia is proud to be a signatory to the PRI and we were delighted to have contributed to this latest report, including through a case study on our work with Sustainalytics. This crucial partnership with the team at Sustainalytics enables us to more accurately assess the carbon footprint of our portfolio and work with management teams to reduce the impact of their operations.
We look forward to the prospect of continuing our engagement with the UN PRI and further implementing our ESG strategy.
