We’re very happy to announce that Kartesia is a carbon neutral company for the second year in a row, having offset its carbon footprint for the year 2019 with the help of third-party provider CarbonFootprint Ltd. In order to offset our carbon footprint, we selected a project taking place in both UK and Brazil. This project provides an opportunity to plant trees in the UK as well as helping to protect the Amazon Rainforest, the largest remaining rainforest in the world. For each tCO2 being offset, one tree is planted in the UK and an additional tCO2 is offset through the Brazilian Amazon Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) Reduced Emissions from Deforestation and Degradation (REDD) project.
