Kartesia - Kartesia

We are a private debt manager

Kartesia is a Pan-European leader

We hold an incumbent advantage in the lower mid-market space. Through our extensive network, we conduct over 70% of our investments on a proprietary, off-market basis, allowing us to access leading SMEs across Europe. Our goal is to deliver consistent alpha to our investors across cycles, by building well-diversified and resilient portfolios. Kartesia originates opportunities from both primary and secondary transactions. We have also positioned ourselves as the most active player in the fast-growing sponsorless opportunity. Our platform offers four complementary strategies which are focused on generating unrivaled risk-adjusted returns and strong downside protection. We are proud to be recognised as the European lower mid-market of the decade.

Kartesia Credit Opportunities

Kartesia Credit Opportunities Strategy (KCO) has been at the forefront of the European Lower Mid-Market since 2013. It focuses on opportunistic lending. This KCO strategy allows for flexible dual-track, primary or secondary origination model, focused on valuable, differentiated financing solutions across the capital structure.

Kartesia Senior Opportunities

Kartesia Senior Opportunities Strategy (KSO) provides pure direct lending. It benefits from dynamic deal flow and strong pipeline driven by a structural imbalance in the supply of credit. KSO enjoys strong capital deployment, ahead of expectations. The approach is still highly selective, securing investments in some of Europe’s strongest businesses.

Kartesia Impact Fund

The Kartesia Impact Strategy (KIF) covers two core themes of “creating a better society” and “a healthier planet”. It addresses 11 of the 17 UN SDGs by setting a clear ESG agenda for portfolio companies. We support companies achieving these targets and incentivize them through meaningful interest rate reductions.

Kartesia Structured Credit

Kartesia Structured Credit (KSC) is our strategy covering CLOs, benefiting from Kartesia’s expertise, strong technological capabilities, and a highly favorable market environment. CLOs give investors access to the senior secured loan market with strong country and industry diversification, as well as structural and interest rate protection.
