Kartesia provides new unitranche financing for McIntosh Group
Kartesia, the European specialist provider of capital solutions for small and mid-sized companies, is pleased to announce that it has completed a new financing for McIntosh Group (“McIntosh” or the “Company”), a leading designer and manufacturer of high-end audio equipment. McIntosh distributes products in over 70 countries under the iconic brands McIntosh, Sonus Faber and Audio Research.
The new unitranche financing, entirely provided by Kartesia, will allow the Company additional flexibility to meet its ambitious sales targets and commercial developments – including innovative ventures in the car audio systems sector with selected car manufacturers.
McIntosh is prepared for this next phase of growth, having capitalised on its products high-quality reputation, under the guidance of its current shareholders led by LBO France (the “Sponsor”). The Company employs 270 people in its three dedicated manufacturing plants, located in the USA and Italy. It is renowned for its high capacity amplifiers and pre-amplifiers, high definition loudspeakers and home theatre sound systems, as well as “all-in-one” product offerings. McIntosh prides itself in its continuous research to improve the existing range and develop new products, incorporating the latest technologies.
